RTG launches RTG Asia
Real Time Gaming (RTG) started producing slots and online casino products in the late 1990s. And two decades later, they're still at the top of the game. Case in point, they'll soon launch a new wing called RTG Asia, which will be dedicated to the Asian market.
The company has tasked a strong team led by RTG Asia CEO Charlotte Tang to head up the project. Their goal is to better serve Chinese slots players with a branch dedicated specifically to this market.
RTG Asia's Goal is to Break from the Pack
Tang says that too many online gaming companies are taking a generic approach towards serving China. This is why Real Time Gaming will do their best to differentiate itself in an otherwise ambiguous market.
"Everything is turning into a commodity in this market. Players can't tell one brand from another based on their homepages," explains Tang. "Cover up this one's logo and it's another's home page. We're bringing new products, and new ideas, to the Asian table, at last."
Tang adds that one thing fueling RTG's current success is their commitment to producing innovative slots that go beyond the norm.
"We're competing with the big boys," she says. "Successfully, I'm happy to say! We have a wider range of volatility, jackpots, interesting features and bonus strategies that are really unrivaled in any market."
Jackie Chan is Helping RTG Asia's Efforts
Born in Victoria Peak, Hong Kong, Jackie Chan was a star in China long before he graced Hollywood. And the martial artist still retains popularity in his home country.
The 64-year-old actor, who became famous for doing his own stunts and his humorous nature, recently signed a deal with RTG Asia. This agreement has led to Eagle Shadow Fist slots and Fantasy Mission Force slots, which are both based on early movies starring Chan.
RTG Asia's Goal is Customizing Slots for China
Most slots makers try to make generalized games that appeal to a wider demographic. But RTG Asia is bucking this trend by producing slots specifically designed for the Chinese market. This means creating symbols, language, and special effects that all relate to the region.
A perfect example is the bursting fireworks in the background of Fu Chi. These fireworks aren't just for show-they're used to ward off Nian, a beast that lives under the sea and threatens both crops and villagers.
"No one in Asia has games like these," Tang says. "Of course we have classic casino themes from Egypt to the Aztecs, but it's our new games specifically designed to appeal the Asian market, such as Fu Chi, celebrating the Year of the Dog and wishing luck, prosperity, happiness on every spin of the reel, that are the must-see games of 2018."
Putting details like this into slots is nothing new for RTG. For example, Cash Bandits 2 has become wildly popular for its safe-cracking theme, in-depth graphics, and special bonuses. But Tang believes that it's time for RTG to put this same detail into another market.
"RTG's been in the game for 20 years as of this year," she says. "It's about time they put some serious effort on bringing their experience and expertise-from BI tools to bonusing innovations to AI-based targeting of players that maximize players lifetime values-to the Asian market.
Tang adds that RTG "feels like kids in a candy store in Asia." And she believes that the company is an early adopter into an untapped market.
More on RTG Slots
RTG has over two decades of experience producing high-quality slots. A testament to their success is that they're one of the few online gaming companies from the 1990s that are still thriving today.
They've released a number of hit slots over the years. And RTG is still putting out popular games! Some of their latest hits include Asgard, Bubble Bubble 2, Cash Bandits 2, Dragon Orb, Gemtopia, Lucha Libre, Megaquarium, Popinata, Purrfect Pets, and Swindle All the Way.
This is in addition to the new Fantasy Mission Force and Eagle Shadow Fist slots that they've produced through RTG Asia.
